IPA Student Reading Celebration 2022
Don't miss this opportunity to meet some of Iowa's most talented young poets! Our July program will include the Student Winners of the Lyrical Iowa Competition, Kindergartners through College--listen to them tell us about who they are and read their winning poem.
We are also very excited to meet Johnnie Each, 17-year-old Cedar Rapids Prairie High School junior who is now the 2022 Student Poet Ambassador of the State of Iowa! She was inaugurated at the State Capitol on April 22nd of this year. Read more about Johnnie here. Johnnie will share insights into her new role, ideas about poetry writing, and she will read some of her poems at the end of the evening.
